 Fire Commissioning Agent will meet the Owners Design Concept to identify, communicate, coordinate and resolve discrepancies during the design phase, contractor selection (scope of work, contractor qualifications), installation, testing, commissioning and closeout services/documents.


Fire Commissioning Agent (FCxA) will be the responsible person or entity identified by the owner who leads, plans, schedules, documents, and coordinates the fire protection and life safety commissioning team and implements the fire protection and life safety commissioning process.


Fire Commissioning Agent with ensuring your life safety systems are properly designed, properly installed, and properly commissioned. The day the system is put in service is the best it will ever be.

Integrated Systems Agent

Commissioning of integrated systems can be thought of as a subset of overall fire protection and life safety systems commissioning. 


Systems are required to operate as a whole to achieve fire protection and life safety objectives. 

Fire Commissioning Agent has decades of hands-on experience performing installation, testing and servicing fire alarm system integration with mechanical and electronic systems. We have the qualifications exceeding the requirements listed in the NFPA. Members of our team have skill sets developed from performing responsibilities as Owners, Managers, and Technicians in the security, communication, sprinkler, and HVAC industries.

In the Beginning - "Where Does It Require My Project to Have a Radio Enhancement System?"

  • States Have Statues Adopting Revised Standards and Codes in 2015 & 2016. Most States Have Adopted 2010 NFPA 1 Chapter 11.10:
  • 11.10* Two-Way Radio Communication Enhancement Systems. 
  • 11.10.1 In all new and existing buildings, minimum radio signal strength for fire department communications shall be maintained at a level determined by the AHJ.
  • 11.10.2 Where required by the AHJ, two-way radio communication enhancement systems shall comply with NFPA 72. (Chapter 24.5.2)
  • 11.10.3 Where a two-way radio communication enhancement system is required and such system, components, or equipment has a negative impact on the normal operations of the facility at which it is installed, the AHJ shall have the authority to accept an automatically activated responder
